London Bombings

myidisbb - Nothing gets censored over here, especially a high story such as this. Information might not get released, but then that only happens if it helps with enquiries. Most of Yahoo's stories (which I read almost daily anyway) get their news from either the Associated Press and Reuters. The latter actually being based here in the UK... so nothing gets "blocked" or "censored" over here, that's for sure.

Two Arrested

2 have been arrested so far, but no information has been given out at this stage. According to reports, they have been taken to Paddigton Green which is a high security police station in London normally used for holding terrorists or suspected terrorists.

New Anti-Terror Arrest

A second man has been arrested in Stockwell, south London, under anti-terrorist laws.

The arrest was made a day after Scotland Yard issued CCTV pictures of four men they wanted in connection with Thursday's attempted London bombings.

The first man was arrested on Friday night, also in Stockwell, following a raid on a property.

Images of four men wanted in connection with Thursday's attacks were released on the day a fifth suspect was killed at a tube station by armed police.

Scotland Yard say they have received a good response to their appeal for information over the men.

They are believed to have tried to detonate three bombs on the Tube and one on a bus throughout London.

Strong evidence recovered from the scenes of the planned explosions led to a day of intense, high-profile police activity on Friday.

In the morning, marksmen shot a man near Stockwell Tube station, south London. He was believed to have been an accomplice of one of the bombers.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission has launched an investigation into the fatal incident.

Around six hours later, armed police stormed a house near the scene of the shooting arresting a man with his wife and young son, said neighbours, also led away by police.

All the action stemmed from attempts on Thursday to attack a bus in east London as well as the Oval, Warren Street and Shepherd's Bush Tube stations in the city.

i meant because web sites can figure out where you are from and if you have been talking too. they will show different stuff to one person etc. (like when you are looking for items to buy) they will show you a different price if you had to surfing and looking around.

therfor your yahoo.com for britain and other main news sites will show different stuff to begin with. that goes for news too. (in candain their reporters couldnt talk about that couple that killed some people, including her sister. she just got release a month ago. but the usa reporters could, since canadain judge law stops at the line. canadains wehre having to watch usa news to find the facts of that killing and court rulings) your bbc is pro understand terrorist support. not your best to get an unbias source of news from. far far left. no balance there.

my input.  some of the tricks that these terrorist like doing is setting off one bomb and while police and emegency workers etc show up to do their job and help the victims they will set off a second bomb.  you dont wear a thick coat in hot july after there has been multi attacks.  duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.  the pictures of the 4 latest attackers look mutli ethic.  and since the bomb maker of the 4 backpacks suck in making a bomb im thinking this is another cell other there in great britain.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You shouldnt be getting shot in the head for wearing a thick coat in july though :) , it's hardly a hanging offence. :sneaky:

only way to stop a suicide bomber is shot them in the head. he ran, he was being watched. he was at a house/apartment that is connected to terrorist. frankly i do not believe he was so innocent. he freaken knew something. the terrorist are connected to the coke from south america now.

btw a good way to spot a shoplifter is a person wearing a thick coat in the summertime.

yeah, it's strange that he ran, had something to hide obviously. they supposedly told him to stop multiple times, how were they to know he wouldn't run into a mob of people and blow himself up? :sneaky:

and yeah, coming from an ex-blockbuster employee, thick coat + summertime = up to something (had a few people try that on me) :)

Newspapers are reporting that the guy in question was living on an expired Visa. 3 months out of date to be precise. Maybe he was running because of this, maybe not. Investigations have already begun in any case.

Loads of arrests made today as well which is good news.

expired visa? they actually consider that a crime in europe? joking. they dont even check who enters the french/british tunnel. its a bit scary.

oh well, we will never know everything about it. (thats what future best selling books are for) besides we have to trust our governments once is a well. i can tell you what would had happen if that happen in the usa. we see that all the time of criminal 17-19 year olds doing a crime, shooting at the cops and then running. god forbin if a cop defends theirselves. oh well that subject is for another day and plus it gets hateful/racist charges if you bring it up.

oh your site was down right for most of the day? im guessing the same problem from the host server?

Apparently, the 4th bomber who is still on the run has been arrested in Rome, Italy. The 3 others who took part in the London attacks have been arrested by British police. Quite an interesting day today...

dang you. you beat me.

me think they are getting treated like on the tv show "24 hours". no cuba vacation in gitmo for them. no cold a/c or loud music or 3 square meals for them. btw are they going to re-arrest the 4 gitmo terrorist that britain released?

I haven't heard anything in relation to the Gitmo suspects to be honest. Sorry.

Rudeboy2025

I was watching the coverage on that. Good work they got the three guys. I also remember hearing an arrest was made in Greece. Is that true?

EDIT - Didn't realise there was a 4th page. :P

as some of you might know already. there might been a 3rd attack maybe. smoking bags on bus and subs. no pictures yet. looks like they are still trying the fear game.

edit

might be just a simple bus fire. no more word on subs. oh well. looks like it wasnt anything maybe- news channels not talking about it anymore.

in other news. shitty judge in italy thinks he can take it slow in the request to send the 4th bomber back to britain. seems italy doesnt want to help britain. hopely the SAS will be sent in and take the fuker and his 2 brothers themselves. italys justice side of their government is about as pro terrorist as you can get. guess they dont want another attack like after 911 on thier government with a airplane loaded with fuel and such. (you all do remember the old guy that use his airplane and hit the italians government building? they of course claim it wsant an act of terrorism. only the tallest building around)

frankly. your 100% wrong, he never ran, he wasnt wearing a padded jacket, he wasnt challenged by police, he wasnt at a house used by terrorists, he was at a block of flats, one of which had a connection to them, He was not being watched. He was 100% innocent, he knew 'freakin' nothing. He was shot in the head while sitting down on the train, and while being held by an unarmed officer, the armed unit then dragged the unarmed officer off him and then shot him a further 6 times in the head and once in the shoulder. ;)

frankly you are posting after the facts base on the latest news. not quite fair. and the pic of him without the coat is bias. its afterwards. one would exspect the police to remove it to make sure there wasnt a bomb. so that picture is bias. btw its about time we close this thread. until the next attack.
