Here you have those "unfamous" PAX Drivers for Sound Blaster Z (also Audigy, X-Fi and USB)

I tested it in the past and sincerely, there is any improvement. It's only "snake oil", so I really recommend you to install the official drivers.

My settings are 24-bit / 192KHz & Stereo Direct Mode (instead of 2.0 / 2.1) and the sound is practically Bit-Perfect :)

I have the default drivers installed , I have this connected by optical(sp-dif) ,in the windows sound settings I have spdif and speakers.

i cannot set speakers as default so i use sp-dif is this correct?  Should I use analog connection instead(orangs, green, black wires).

Where are you getting the 24 bit/192Khz settings by the way?

Thks
