I was wondering why all of sudden none of the redirects were working for me?? Xfinity "Advanced Security" was actively blocking "anonym.to". Why?

Not blocked by SEP. Make an exception in your security app.

I put the exceptions in ESET Internet Security. Now I am getting:

This site can’t provide a secure connection

anonym.to sent an invalid response.

Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

Google Chrome. Is there something in this preventing redirects?

You'll see this error if the page had an error that Chrome couldn't understand. To fix the error, contact the website owner.

I assume that Nsane is all ready aware of this issue with Chrome?

I'm personally using Firefox with SEP 14, so I cannot say that have personal experience with your situation.  However, security protocols and their implementation with regard to redirects are pretty much the same with all browsers and security suites.  What differs is the related configurations for each security app to adjust and overcome such difficulties.

P.S.  SSL connection errors are mainly easy and straightforward to diagnose.  Might not be the issue with Chrome.
