Xiaomi has recently launched several new products over in China including a trio of laptops through its Redmi brand. What interesting about them is that all three new RedmiBook laptops carried the Ryzen Edition label on their names.

This is because all of them are equipped with the equally new AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors. Available with either AMD Ryzen 7 4700U or Ryzen 5 4500U, among the major differences between them are the size of their screen.

As per its name, the RedmiBook 16 comes with a 16.1-inch display while the RedmiBook 14 and RedmiBook 13 feature 14 and 13.3-inch display, respectively. All three display has a native resolution of Full HD, 178-degree viewing angle, and a maximum brightness of between 250 to 300nits depending on specific models.

Equipped with a 46Whr battery, the RedmiBook 16 can last up to 12 hours when it comes to local video playback or 9 hours for online video streaming. For RedmiBook 14 and RedmiBook 13, both models feature 40Whr battery that provides them up to 11 hours and 8 hours respectively for similar activities.

Meanwhile, it is not known if Xiaomi is planning to release any of these RedmiBook Ryzen Edition laptops into Malaysia. Previously, the Xiaomi Country Manager for Malaysia and Singapore, Nicholas Shi has revealed that the company is indeed planning to launch new types of products into our market.

While the list includes Mi TV, Mi Watch, and Mi Gaming Monitor, the executive did not mention anything about laptops though. So, for now, it seems that there is a rather slim chance to see any of these RedmiBook Ryzen Edition laptops to be officially launched in our market despite the recent popularity of AMD Ryzen 4000 processors.
