Does anyone have a newer working version of the trim.bat file? before this file would decrease the loading time of the CCleaner analyzing part, but my old trim.bat file no longer seems to work with these newer CCleaner versions.

Allow it to connect.

By firewall or maybe hosts file

Maybe I'm repeating myself.

Portable version with core keygen: used for years without having to mess with the FW. Just replace the files when a new version is out.

CCleaner owned by Avast

They want you to pay for auto update(pro version) thats why they flag my ccleaner updater to prevent the use of my tool.

So don't worry because my tool is clean and safe for use.

Ok thanks for clarification, lets put a exception for this in Avast

:) You can apply it as follows:

1-Run CC hosts blocker bat.

2-Install CCleaner and no launch it or exit.

3-Copy CCleaner.dat (in the Crack folder) to CCleaner install dir.

4-Run CC tasks remover bat.

Enjoy.

If one wants to uninstall everything related to CCleaner, how to remove the changes made by your patch?

These do not put any junk in the system, and only the values in the hosts file are permanent, you need to delete these values in the hosts file yourself or you can copy the backed hosts file to be backed up to the desktop by renaming as hosts to Windows's hosts file location.

---------
If also, when CCleaner reinstall by removing or its a new version is installed, this should be repeated in order. If only CCleaner hosts blocker is run once and you have not removed these values from the hosts file, this CC hosts blocker does not need to be run again.

@yaschir your CCleaner host blocker add these two to the host file:

Spoiler

license.piriform.com
www.ccleaner.com

Won't it be sufficient to block the licence server only?

CCleaner Updater is infected with Win32:TrojanX-gen[Tr] says my Avast Premium Security

Nothing is detected down here by SEP.  I've been using this updater for sometime now and never had any functional or security problem with it, many thanks to @Actver.

Most likely false positive.

Can anybody give a link to Pawel97's anti-telemetry patch for CCleaner.

@Buffoon Visible serial keys hidden. Reminder all keys should be hosted on a free hosting site then properly share-coded or shared in private. Please do not put it into spoilers.

If it doesn't work you will have to either Block [CCleaner/CCleaner64] [CCupdate (you can delete it)] with a firewall or use hosts file method

For HOSTS add these entries:

For example I have not blocked anything and everything works perfectly. There is no need to block at all nothing.

Therefore, I recommend that you use the same method.

Actually I want to block CCleaner from calling home or collecting any user data from my end.

Otherwise it works fine since a long time on my PC without blocking anything, but after avast got control of CCleaner it is becoming more and more intrusive.
