DVDFab is all-in-one DVD copying/converting/burning software. In just one or two steps, you can copy any DVD to DVDR/PSP/iPod/etc. DVDFab is brand new, is completely rewritten, is based on more than 6 years of DVD copy software development. It allows you to remove all DVD copy protections, like CSS, CPPM, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs, ARccOS, RipGuard, FluxDVD, CORE X2, etc. It is constantly updated to support latest DVD copy protections and has a very fast copying speed, normally it's about 10 - 20 minutes.

New: Introduced the UHDPath feature to handle the Java protections on 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays.

What's UHDPath?

Given our experiences on the BluPath for Blu-ray discs, the PathPlayer for DVD discs and the StealthyClone, the arrival of the UHDPath is just a matter of time. Now with the emergence of the 1st BD-J protected 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc — Midway (2019), that time has eventually come.

UHDPath, similar to its Blu-ray and DVD siblings, is a UHD disc analyzing algorithm to help DVDFab users with the decryption of 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs, and it is included in the UHD Copy and UHD Ripper products in DVDFab 11, and the Blu-ray version of the Passkey software.
How does UHDPath work?

It works this way: once the above-mentioned products detect a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc being loaded, UHDPath will actively start the internal scanner to scan, check and analyze that disc quickly in the background. The entire scanning process is proceeded in a way like a 4K UHD player plays a 4K disc. During this process, UHDPath, working in conjunction with our StealthyClone technology, will

1) Quickly and precisely locate the correct playlist

Generally, when the scanning process finishes, UHDPath shall have no problem finding the correct playlist for users to make a main movie backup. However, more and more discs employ multiple fake playlists (a version of BD-J protection) into the menus to confuse users, so that they don’t know which one actually is the main title to choose when they want to copy the original disc with a 3rd party UHD backup software. At this point, the StealthyClone comes in to help UHDPath pinpoint the correct playlist from those fake ones.

2) Access and remove the BD-J protectionss

Not all 4K Blu-ray discs come out with BD-J protections. The Midway (2019) proves to be the 1st one. During the scanning process, UHDPath will access and acquire the detailed information on the BD-J protection, and then leave it to StealthyClone to further perform the decryption and removal procedures. Once the BD-J protection is successfully removed, users will then be able to make a full disc backup.
How does UHDPath handle new protections?

Similar like the way BluPath does. UHDPath will run the internal scanner for a 2nd time after the disc is stripped of protections, then tell users if they can make a full disc backup. Even if, an updated protection scheme fails UHDPath for the time being, there’s no need to worry. Because, like BluPath does to new protections on Blu-rays, UHDPath shall also automatically upload the protection information to our server via cloud, so that our developers can get an in-time automated alert when such information is received.

What users need to do next is to wait for the new protection to be nailed, which, as always, won't take long. Once the decryption job is done, the Disc Messenger will notify users, via email or from inside DVDFab 11, telling them they should be able to make the backup copy of that 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc without a problem.
