For me it was 2 requirements: 1) 50 posts (dont have to be great posts like new meds or software, but they do have to be part of the discussion and not just fluff, also I have learned that some forums posted in do not increase your post count, like Member Intro and the Chat Bar) For me was not a problem, I just be myself and try to discuss things semi-intelligently 2)I had to be a member in good standing for 60 days ...also respecting the staff and other members never hurts!!! I think the color is decided by the IPB forum software we use and might be same for all the users with same letter. No limit in amount of posts. We are against members spamming the forums to increase their post counts but for that member has to spam, which most of the members do not do so here and instead make important contribution here.
