SnakeOnATrain Posted October 31, 2019 Share Posted October 31, 2019 I just recently installed ConvertXtoDVD and it keeps telling me that the version I have, which is the newest version, isn't legit and it needs to be updated. It tends to work for a week or so, then I get the message "Update Mandatory" telling me a new version 7.0.0.64 is available. It actually just happened now when I went to check which version I had installed. I just re-patched it and it works again for a while. I don't know if there's a better patch out there. That patch was made for like v5 it's missing lots of checks are you blocking it with a firewall ? Sounds like its calling home and VSO is unpatching it or it is just not patching it right as you said. Edit : its not updated since 2018 you can get all versions here in portable , 4, 5 , 6 , 7 http://portableappz.blogspot.com/2017/02/convertxtodvd-60090-multilingual.html I always used these portables that cracks it when you install it online , . I discovered that It contained the Cerberus patch AND the RadiXX11 patch!! lol Only in Funkyyland do you find these kinds of computer genius errors!! I deleted the old Cerberus patch and re-patched with the other one and the program shows "registered" again. (also it's blocked with firewall) Edit 2) Now it started giving the "update mandatory" message again!! I've reverted to a portable version instead.
