Install W10FC but don't start it yet (uncheck "Run Windows10FirewallControl now" option at the end of installation) or close it if it's already running. 2. Open Task Manager or the Services applet, and make sure that "Windows10FirewallService" service is stopped. 3. Select the right DLL according to your OS (x86/x64) and copy it to the installation folder of W10FC (ie., the DLL file must be next to "Windows10FirewallControl.exe" and "Windows10FirewallService.exe"). 4. Start W10FC and right-click the tray icon. If you don't see the "Register" option in the context menu, means that the patch is installed correctly. For PLUS portable: 1. Close W10FC portable if it's already running. 2. Select the x86 DLL file and copy it to the folder where you have W10FC portable (ie., the DLL file must be next to "Windows10FirewallControlPlus-Portable.exe"). 3. Start W10FC portable and right-click the tray icon. Unfortunately, there's a new issue with the last version of the crack that resets your settings. mymiabear Posted July 22, 2019 Share Posted July 22, 2019 @VandITYup using it now! The portable v3.x beta may replace Win10 firewall control for me. IMO the interface is 100 times better. It doesn't work in the same way as filtering I guess though. Simplewall relies on windows firewall while win10 firewall control relies on its own.
