does this actually work??

The license file worked for me. It's in the Pro folder in the archive I linked.

To activate using a license file,

Go to the license info:

1

Click the button to add a license:

2

In the next screen, click the text at the bottom to browse for license file.

Navigate to wherever you extracted the archive and choose the included license file.

the problem is that  it's probably a stolen license that can expire anytime. I was talking about the crack.

Neither the activation code nor the license file work, btw.

And the hacktivator didn't work, either.

Before my original post, I installed Avast for the first time on this computer. I added the License file I mentioned and it worked. My license said it was good until 2042 or something and it's still active today after doing a system reboot. Same license, no change.

Sure, the license is stolen or something and will probably get blacklisted. But all you asked was if it worked or not. I only tried one of the fixes and it worked so that's what I told you. The Hacktivator is obviously outdated so chances of that working were slim to none, but I didn't try that method so I couldn't tell you whether it worked or not.

Last but not least, if you want a License for the program than buy it. I don't use Avast so it was installed in a VM so as not to interfere with my actual security setup. But I paid for the license I use with the software I choose to protect my system. I don't have time to try and find a new fix every time a new version is released and my license gets blacklisted. I want constant protection so I paid for it.
