Has anyone else been having problems with the last few releases of XMedia Recode?

I've been having problems with this program since version 3.4.5.2. Usually when the program starts up, it performs some loading task which takes a few seconds and displays a progress bar. After version 3.4.5.2, the window that's supposed to display the progress bar comes up for about 2 seconds, but is completely blank without the progress bar, and after that the program crashes.

If anyone else has been having this issue and knows how it may be resolved, I would appreciate some help.

No issues here. Specially checked a portable version for you. The progress bar does appear, but it then opens the software fine after it. I do not remember progress bar appearing before except in recent versions though. I suggest you check if you are not blocking the software for accessing the internet. If that is not the issue then I suggest re-installation of it.

If you still cannot fix it then I suggest you contacting the developer about it.

I use primarily portable versions. I've tested both x86 and x64 for several versions, and I attempted installing 3.4.6.5 x64, all with the same result. I had to downgrade to 3.4.5.2 because every version after that fails to start on my system. I guess I will try contacting the developer.
