Wait for Thebig repack...😀

So was I, but I see that his profile status says "Retired" I hope that someone else will post a portable version with the Telemetry blocked.

Instead of waiting, you guys can block telemetry . . . . . all by yourselves:—

@angel I was reading through the "INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS Serials.txt". Is there a simpler way to install? i.e. Is one method of the 2 easier to use? I am a noob when it comes to this install. If you could offer some additional help that would be greatly appreciated.

My bad. I redid my post after finding the CORE keygen in @angel's upload. I was just looking for a simpler way to install.

Yea, I think that is what I'm going to do. TheBig repack was nice in the the past. Much respect to him.

And as suggested in @dcs18's link: prefer a firewall with a whitelist policy. CC apps won't connect outside as long as you don't whitelist(/care about) them.

How is it possible that an adult person in the 21st century is not capable of independently using such a simple thing as CCleaner?

There must always be someone to help. And so it lasts already for years, from day to day the same thing, the same questions etc.
Learn to use elementary and very primitive things itself.

Does the @TheBig still do a repack for this? And, does it do things, such as telemetry fix, etc.?

No, I don't think so. His status now says "Retired"

Well, good for him [I hope]. But, a loss for us. Where did you see this status as retired?

It won't active ccleaner if it's not installed on the C drive? There is no search for the file option either.

Just says.

Just an observation — not implying anything:—

Had a little bit of time on my hands and decided to monitor CCleaner after configuring within its GUI (and . . . . at every layer) to not call home.

Was pleasantly surprised that this particular build did not make any server calls during the normal course of use in sharp contrast to earlier builds.

This might've been the case with recent builds, as well — never had the time to monitor them, though.

Is there any change of getting a repack that does everything that is needed?

Personally, prefer to use the official offline redistributable installer — taking extraordinary care to ensure that my OS is not polluted by any program executable (EXE) by virtue of a loss of digital signature (AntiVirus and other security programs tend to scan such programs repeatedly causing a compromise in responsiveness.)

In short, I never use any sort of fixes which cause a loss of the digital signature — fixes such as patches, loaders, EXE replacement (as also . . . . some RePacks.)

ps:—

Something I missed mentioning on my previous post — this particular build calls home initially during installation (at installer level.).

I used the official installer [Tech Edition]. And, I used the CORE keygen, internet off during install and then applying keygen, internet back on. With this hold? Or, is it going to phone home?

Can somebody explain me what's the policy (or hack) of the different CCleaner Professional setup files that can be downloaded?

https://download.ccleaner.com/professional/ccsetup558_pro.exe
https://download.ccleaner.com/ccsetup558pro.exe

I extracted the content of the setup files. The ccsetup558_pro.exe is smaller in size, the installer interface is different from the ccsetup558pro.exe. The ccsetup558pro.exe is bigger in size and in the setup file some Google Chrome related files are present (PF-Chrome-2018.exe, gcapi_dll.dll, pfWWW.dll, and others). Also in this bigger setup file a autotrial.dat file is there with 0 byte in size, which is not present in the https://download.ccleaner.com/professional/ccsetup558_pro.exe file.

Also what I observed is that the Professional trial setup file that you can download from the site directly (cctrialsetup.exe) is the same with the https://download.ccleaner.com/ccsetup558pro.exe file. So the cleanest Professional edition is the setup with the underline (ccsetup558_pro.exe).

However, why 3 Professional setup files? and why is integrated that google stuff in two of them??

If somebody can clarify this, it would be nice.

....

If somebody can clarify this, it would be nice.

There is no other difference, only the appearance of one of them was as on old time and the other one is with modern look.

In addition, all installers install exactly the same CCleaner, the only difference is in the branding.dll file with different titles.
Professional, Business, Technician, etc are just license types and nothing else. If any experimental changes are made, they would make only the professional version of the .dll file in branding.dll and so far. Therefore, there may be some differences. But also this doesn't mean, that there are some differenses in CCleaner.exe - they are all the same, only some functions are not visible in not regitered version and some new test functions are only visible if to use professional branding.dll.

Can you tell me what does it do, or is automatic?

It gives you a huge amount of additional options that CCleaner can clean. You can make Your selection, what exactly You want to clean and what not.
However, they are all recommended and you can always add any of your rules. Do You use Your own cleaning rules, Your oen exclusions rules etc?
And now the question for you personally - if you have questions about a particular thing, why don't you visit the manufacturer's / author's website to read everything from the source? Why should anyone always rewrite everything or post incorrect copy-paste texts?

Didn't You really know what winapp2.ini is up to now? If so, it is a very sad story.
