The current fix should possibly have the same faults as the previous one (build 330) as it is strictly compliant...
How are the watermarks produced?

Seems to work well, but I've only tested it a little, so others will need to chime in, anyway thanks Advertiser and to Soda too.

I need, as a reference, the patch build 330.0 x32 which is missing ... build 328.2 x32 is too different

Wonder if this version still has the "text disappears after a while" bug?

If yes, I plan to stay at 7.0.328.1 forever.

Hi,

I found this file PDFXEditCore.x64_Soda.dll in PDFXEditCore.x64_8.0.331.0_Soda.rar . Now where to place this file and which software to install ? Would this work for PDF-XChange PRO    version ?  Kindly give in the details. Thanks.

Rename PDFXEditCore.x64_Soda.dll  as PDFXEditCore.x64.dll and replace original file in main dir

@m345 Thanks for posting the links to all editions.

Thank you Soda120 for your dedicated work.

I wish I had a patch for PDFXTools.exe from the Pro edition.... :(

Warning: Those who have downloaded the file pdfSaverL.exe (x64) from the link of the post:

do not need to change it with the one contained in the two package by Soda:

- PDF-XChange Editor Plus v8.0.331.0 x86/x64 Soda

- PDF-XChange Editor Plus v8.0.331.0 x86/x64 Upd #1 Soda

since it is the same (CRC32 = F4FF72BB).

@Soda120 you are a treasure! I can't thank you enough for providing the x86 fixes :notworthy: After pretty thorough testing, I haven't found any problem in the main features, the only part that doesn't seem to work is the password removal.

I confirm. for me the password removal works with x64 bit core (both with the first version proposed by me and with the one recently updated by Soda) but does not work with x32 bit core

Warning for all patch users:  as Soda 120 advise, please thoroughly test the Core x 32-64 and Printer x32-64 files and report obtained results !!

Yes, on further tests that seems to be the only bit that isn't working on the 32bit version. I'll continue testing later today but I'm not expecting any glitches. The 8.x version is indeed quite different from the earlier versions but Soda's skills are superb, I'm sure he'll fix the password removal in no time.
