I do Reflect testing for Macrium. I've done hundreds of backups and restorations.

As anyone who knows anything about data security, they would know that Reflect is the very best in terms of reliability and functionality.

There have been a few CBT issues for some, but hopefully they are now fixed. I get a complimentary Server license for my troubles. :rolleyes:

Again, each to their own. For me, the best is Terabyte Image for Windows/Linux, in terms of reliability, functionality and speed/compression ratio. Macrium Reflect lacks a lot in its compression algorithm as compared to Terabyte.

Yes I did, the MPT patch is working fine for both versions.

just a brief note on sth I noticed in the first post: the download links for the different editions of MR are provided as non-https.
perhaps, it's a healthy habit to pay attention to request the installers/updates via TLS (v1.2 in this case; why they chose COMODO CA - beats me).

what I mean:
http -> https

or an easy to mount (e.g.) supply chain attack:) cannot be ruled out, obviously.

so, the link for the home edition x64 (i use it):
http://updates.macrium.com/Reflect/v7/getmsi.asp?edition=0&type=0&arch=1&redirect=Y

 ->  will transform to:

https://updates.macrium.com/Reflect/v7/getmsi.asp?edition=0&type=0&arch=1&redirect=Y

forgive my simplistic explanations.
cheers.:cheers:

Yes, I agree with you oliverjia , I also switched to Terabyte Image for Windows, I like it better than Macrium Reflect, no mess if a patch does work or not, a simple serial number is enough to register it, TeraByte Image for Windows can also easily made to a portable program.
