Exellent ! What do you think about this new beta release of PowerDVD ? Which new features has it ? Which improvement ? May be it is better wait a repacked version because it`s only a beta release.

Has anyone tried overwriting a previous activated 'version 19' with this '20 version', with the activation remaining unchanged ?

I think is impossible powerdvd remaining activated with overwriting strategy but I`ll try for sure. Stay tuned !!

I assume you'd end up with an activated v19 along with an unactivated v20.

I'm sure the 2 versions will coexist and not overwrite.

I think this has happened to me once in the past, regards ending up with two versions.

I was thinking that it might be possible with the link showing  the word  'Patch' https://update.cyberlink.com/Retail/Patch/PowerDVD/D87UQ1HA02O/PowerPlayer_20.0.1322.62_DVD190912-01.exe .

I think it's best to await a repack as this overwriting procedure doesn't work, and the activation process described above seems too complicated.

here is a temporary solution :

1- copy this file "_PyCSEWrapper.pyd" from the  2019 Roonny repack ,you will find in this folder : C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD19\Subscription

2- paste it in the same location in the 2020 version : C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD20\Subscription. (replace the 2020 version of the same file)

it worked for me, with a minor lost : the 3d Blue-Ray.

Thanks to Roonny for his hard work . he will for sure fix this in his future repack.

Regards to all

Hi, @g8194189 this link seams to be for 32 bit, right? If so do you have one for 64 bit? Thanks in advance.
