Only for testing v4 - HDClone 9.0.3

Only tested in Symobi Boot environment after made a boot USB from Windows program.

Boot crashes randomly, have to reset the system to have the UEFI boot menu again. So far, I tested image making (& smartimage), seems to work fine. But, I didn't do any restore function to verify whether DATA from restored image remains the same as original.

The cracked executable also needed detail "Cloning test"....and, I don't have the system setup to perform such a test now.

v9.0.3 Technician WinPE!!! No, its not Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE) system, rather boot system based on miray Symobi OS.

If anyone has issues with errors on boot disc  / UEFI boot menu etc.

change the start menu  ( M  = more options  on startup )

move down to the  startup mode and select compatible mode by tapping enter

press esc to return to main menu

then type S to start program

I have found using a selective start up can prevent boot errors rather than the default boot

hope this helps

otherwise program working well

thanks to remek002

😉

@remek002

Any chance of releasing a 64bit version of the .exe for testing?

Many thanks!

Not try to thread crap, but based on my 15 years of experience using disk imaging software, this program is inferior to essentially all disk imaging software in market. It's full of bugs and surprise. I won't risk my data with this POS.

I'm suprised you said that. I have used this for the past decade. It's mint for cloning drives, copying purposes and I've never had a problem with the software. It's not your traditional imaging software like macrium, acronis etc.

The Devs did a good job with this software.

No, unfortunately that is not the true 64-bit version as it will not run in an x64 PE environment  without  WOW64 support.

If someone has the basic version 9.0.9, then maybe I can create a Professional x86/x64 exe version if the original exe file will be x64.

I downloaded version 5 and created bootable USB from the app.

Booted on an old computer and used the clone function. Everything worked perfect :)

Thanks a lot @remek002

Only mishap is that I had to select "compatible" option to be able to boot, but that is an HDclone problem.

I successfully created and restored a GPT smart image using the x64 version in a pure x64 PE environment. Also had no issues in the partitioning tool deleting and creating partitions. Speeds in both directions were around 210-230MB/s  and took < 2 minutes to complete. Will do more testing later.

Thank you so much for sharing the new updated, unlocked and 64bit version, will try to test more later!!!!

I booted from my USB Windows PE iso on my testbox and connected an external USB then cloned the testbox's SSD to the external, then I swapped SSD's to test the outcome:

I also just created a VM (.vhdx) without error as well :)

NOTE: all of my tests were conducted using v9.0.11a posted earlier today by remek002.

Test ran with v9.0.11a, boot media to USB made and tested in UEFI Mode - worked flawless, backup was smooth and easy to do - TRIM function - wanted to delete-wipe all partitions...

restore worked fine.

No update for 9.0.3 Technician unless you want Enterprise.
