Why there are only workstation and server iso-files, while the exe-files are ordinary? Is the Workstation iso-file suitable for use on a laptop?

Regards

This is due the difference between the two available license. They have two editions one is for workstation OS and the other for server OS. They have changed the installer on this version to support the two editions, so the specific edition is changed according your license key (not as it was on older version were it was separated to different installers).

on the Bootable ISO its must be pre-classify to only one of the editions , normal or server.

About your laptop, the answer is probably positive unless it have server OS installed on it that is not common.

Hi!
In a post on this same forum:

The .iso can be downloaded directly from Acronis servers.
The download is 208 MB for both the WinPE Workstation version and the server version.
Your download is 322 MB for the x64 version and 270 MB for the x86 version.

What is the difference ?

The isos downloaded from Acronis are Linux based.

@Togijak

Even if your post contains WinPE ISO's, it should have been posted here in this thread alongside with the install version.

@Jordan

Before I posted I used the search function and was looking for Acronis Disk Director 12.5 Build 163 and there was no response and that was the reason for my separate post

That serial is mine and i did that winpe. Activation is valid for all language.

Yes kabino, I'm able to corroborate that the serial is valid for activation by utilizing it to download the Acronis Disk Director 12.5 installer directly from the developer's website.

Thanks for sharing your serial and the WinPE.

Regards.

Edit: No need to disable internet and/or use firewall to block during installation and validation.
