Skype is a little piece of software that lets you make free calls to anyone else on Skype, anywhere in the world. And even though the calls are free, they are really excellent quality. If you and your friends, family or business contacts are using webcams, you can also make free video calls. You can even call landlines and mobile phones at really cheap per minute rates (and there's no setup or subscription fee).

Ive found the last couple of updates have been bad.  The performance has dropped badly.  It now takes serveral minutes to load in an emoticons.  Same thing with hitting the side bit that has Giphy, Youtube, TuneMoji etc.  Watching paint dry seems speedy to this.  Ive tried going back a few versions but as soon as I reboot it updates itself to this version and I cant find a way to stop it.

I may soon have to ditch this app for something better.
