I know this won't come as a shock to some of you but the uploader called Cracksnow has been releasing infected torrents. He is now banned on 1337x, TGx & TPB. I do not know about other sites. I have personally tested more than five of his releases that I acquired from his legit accounts on various sites. Strangely the same downloads appear to be clean on his site but I only checked a few. I know when his uploads get reported he bitches that people have it in for him and that they target him. He is 100% uploading dirty torrents. Here is some proof, sorry if my English is a little off. After installing kms activator uploaded by Cracknow, i ran it. System showed error, reboot to complete activation. Rebooted, checked and system was active. Ran Malwarebytes and it flagged 2x "malware" c:\users\test\appdata\local\temp\d489.tmp\kmsauto.exe & c:\users\public\xswi.exe https://i.imgur.com/mrMgV6U.png Installed process explorer v16.22 No bad/processes reported. Also Whatever App you Download .exe File Size is Always Same. Mostly exe file Contains Malware Or Adware. Stay Away From this Site. No Idea How They Managed to get 34,000 Alexa Rank. If its for Android never download and exe same as if it was for Linux or Mac .exe only to be used on windows best to check anything cracked like that with a antivirus and or virus total. You are unchecking the accelerate box or any boxes that are checked ? As Steven suggests use virus total but for android me personally would not DL the exe .... Also watch for Download buttons in the wrong place... Plus many ways to check the Download button one is use your pointer and hover over it to see where the link goes in the bottom left .... As uploaders on them external hosts get paid for ads ....... Truepeace Posted February 4, 2019 Share Posted February 4, 2019 I used to get my Internet Download Manager patcher from Cracksnow on 1337x, glad I fell on this. My last download was in December 13th and I have no strange processes or created files like the tester of the ransomware and I have Norton Security which only blocked the IDM patcher when I launched it so I had to exclude it but nothing else phishy, no strange files created.
