A Google search of "DOPUSv12.6_Portable by Neoland" is what you need to do. It may be a quicker way to get what you want.

Regrettably I had two more unexpected shutdowns. One last week, one yesterday. One of them happened while I wasn't in the room. Computer was running, I was working in MS Word, I left the room, I came back, computer was shut down. DOpus was running in both cases, and I wasn't doing anything in DOpus at the time. I never had this kind of shutdowns on Win 10 before installing DOpus 12.12. It's a pity, because otherwise the medicine seems to work perfectly, but those shutdowns are obviously a problem, especially at work.

Really?? Do you think DOpus is totally responsible for the shutdowns?? If it is, we'd have to wait for the correct solution from @neommc.

Yes, I do think so. As I said above, I didn't have any unexpected shutdowns before I installed 12.12, plus @neommc did mention unexpected shutdowns as a possible side effect of the 12.12 medicine a while ago. (I am very glad he did, so I was prepared.)

Yes, I understand, and I do hope others will report the same error. The shutdowns seem to happen once a week at max.

Is there a way to record a shutdown event? Such as a script that is triggered to run just before a shutdown?

Doesn't Event Viewer show that?

I don't know. What words should I use to search Event Viewer events for a shutdown?

More info is needed for Neommc to reproduce the issue before a fix.

Update: The cause was found - the docs.dll was not replaced!!!! Therefore, please follow the instruction on the first page strictly!!!

if you change a setting, like enable pdf preview in viewer pane. the cat appears after some minutes. The have to use process explorer to kill the process.

I'm trying to re-produce this and see if the pirate cat appears. So far after 10 minuntes with the viewer pane enabled there is no problem. Will keep you updated.

Same is here. I left the pdf reviewer panel on and no cats have been seen after more than 30min.

Dancing cat appeared for me also today.

Not associated with docs as I don't use the preview pane at all.

What did happen is that the update dialog appeared right before the cat.

Your image is at too low resolution to see the details.

Can you give step wipe details how to reproduce it?

Here is  what I  did:

1) Go to settings - Preferences - Viewer - Plugins

2)  Ticked/un-ticked "ActiveX + Preview + Office + Web"

3) View a pdf in the right view panel.

All worked, no cats.

Did you use the TSRh sn?

Also, please make sure you have replaced all the three files.

I've been using neommc's fix for weeks with no issues, until today.

I used a license file that came with the zip, the licensed name was SULLY LUTCHMAN.

Should I apply a different/updated fix?

Please check the hashes of the three files after replacement. If they match as expected, then there are some hidden checks that may have been missed in Neommc's fix.

I just compared the MD5, SHA-1 and SHA-256 hashes from my files and they match those you provided.

Is there something else I can do to help?
