Edit/update:

Some are suggesting that I caused this by accidentally pressing both the Windows key and the L key AND the period key all at the same time...

But when I got home and tested on my windows 10 machine 1809 (17763.195) which is recent all the way to end of last year Dec 2018, I can NOT replicate or duplicate this event, so if it was an update, which update in the last few days would have caused this bug?
