The release resolves Shadow of the Tomb Raider crashes

NVIDIA has made available a new version of its GeForce graphics driver, namely 417.58 hotfix, which should resolve occasional Shadow of the Tomb Raider crashes seen in DirectX 12 mode, as well as fix BenQ XL2730 black screen error encountered when using 144Hz refresh rates.

In addition to that, the current release also resolves the MSI GT83 notebook lockup experienced when resuming from sleep, makes sure FPS doesn’t drop when using G-sync with V-sync in games, and fixes DisplayPort monitors black screen errors.

When it comes to compatibility, the two available files are suitable for the 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems; also, know that Windows 10 users can download a DCH or Standard driver.

Therefore, if you have encountered these issues, save the appropriate package for your computer’s operating system, run it, wait for all files required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually so that any possible problems are avoided.

In addition to that, make sure not to try installing this hotfix release on other platforms, as this might lead to various malfunctions, even if they might seem to work at first

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 417.58 Hotfix, apply it on your device, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
