Windows 10 is Microsoft's computer operating system that is hugely-popular across the globe.

In fact, Windows itself far surpasses macOS, Chrome OS and Linux in terms of mostly users, according to NetMarketShare.

The software is hugely-popular for its wide-range of customisability options and regular updates.

Windows 10 fans are able to sign up to Microsoft's Windows 10 Insider Programme that grants access to early builds of the operating system that has new features.

Although the early iterations of the software typically have more bugs than final-release versions, they do allow users to experience functions that will surely arrive in fully-fledged Windows 10 updates for everyone.

The latest Insider preview build, 18305, recently released and brings a number of notable changes to Windows 10.

One of the biggest changes comes to the Start menu, a signature Windows feature that has long been a hallmark of the operating system.

Microsoft has stated the tool has now been simplified based on user feedback.

The Start menu is now arranged in a fresh one-column design, the firm noted.

In a blog post discussing the alteration, the American tech behemoth said: "Based on your feedback, we’re introducing a simplified default Start layout for new devices, new user accounts, and clean installs.

"The new layout has been simplified into a sleek one column design with reduced top-level tiles. For the IT admins out there, don’t worry, commercial and education customers will also see a simplified layout tailored to these scenarios.

"Coupled with earlier changes providing the ability to uninstall additional inbox apps, and a new way to easily to unpin a folder or group of tiles, the simplified Start layout is part of an ongoing effort designed to enhance your Start experience in the upcoming release of Windows."

The new build also introduces Windows Sandbox, a piece of software designed to run suspicious applications.

Essentially, Sandbox runs other software in a separate Windows environment to alleviate any possibility of malware affecting the user's computer and files.

Explaining the tool, Microsoft said: "Windows Sandbox is a new lightweight desktop environment tailored for safely running applications in isolation.

"How many times have you downloaded an executable file, but were afraid to run it? Have you ever been in a situation which required a clean installation of Windows, but didn’t want to set up a virtual machine?

"At Microsoft, we regularly encounter these situations, so we developed Windows Sandbox: an isolated desktop environment where you can run untrusted software without the fear of lasting impact to your device.

"Any software installed in Windows Sandbox stays only in the sandbox and cannot affect your host. Once Windows Sandbox is closed, all the software with all of its files and state are permanently deleted."

Lastly, the build also delivers security improvements and the ability to employ symbols and Kaomoji with the press of a hotkey.

The new preview build is being rolled out right now to Windows Insiders.

It is presumed the features included in the software will arrive in the next major Windows 10 update for users that is expected in early 2019.

This means you cant reboot in Sandbox-modus , if your testing software , which requires reboot , you cant use it.......!

So we have to use Acronis Try&Decide still......!!    :hi:
