Hello... From a few days now I've been having trouble to share files between my pc and smartphone(android)...

I used Shareit and Zapya but both are giving me a hard time now.. It takes a lot of time to connect the two devices...

PLEASE SUGGEST A WAY.. I'M THINKING ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE TEAMVIEWER BUT THAT WHICH CONNECTS VIA WiFi...:snack:

Use es file explorer on both phones...

There is a way to set up an FTP server ... remote manager

Use your browser as an ftp client

ES File Explorer

Under Network use remote manager for ftp server

If your pc is set up for file sharing you can access it via NETWORK LAN on ES file explorer too

It's only working when connected to internet... When I turn off the data it stops working...

Xender is the best for me.

It is free &  has no adervtisments, too!

http://www.xender.com/index.html

I used Shareit and Zapya... both closely related to Xender... (I think I've tried Xender too)...

The problem is that even both the devices are connected through Wifi, my phone or pc doesn't show up...

i use MyPhoneExplorer to transfer files quickly over wifi between win10 and an android phone.
and for other tasks.
it's feature-rich, free, portable.
https://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php

the problem you describe may not be the choice of software though.
i don't know, perhaps try to find the root cause.🙃
cheers.

internet connection not required

Exactly what I've been looking for... No nonsense and free too... Where was this gem hiding...

The best way to transfer from Phone to PC and vice-versa is FX File Explorer, better than ES File Explorer :showoff:

It has a server embed in it you can activate in the File Sharing section (Plus Add-on) to upload / download files.

FX File Explorer is like the Windows Explorer, its UI is unrestricted for managing files on Android.

use File Manager ver 2.0.9 on ur android and use Total Commander on ur PC any version

how to connect

from ur android run File Manager then start service it will generate an ftp ip with port link

from ur PC run total commander then go to Net tab and select ftp connect .. then select new connection

in session field put anything .. in hostname:port insert ftp ip and port generated from File Manager

save and then connect
