I wanna know because I don't want my SSD to be damaged i dont have ssd,only hdd but after diskeeper , o&o is the best,definitely boosts performance. after using raxco perfectdisk for 6-7 yrs ,i switched to o&o and really experience its defragging boost to overall performance. SSD is doing garbage collection and the O.S. is doing trim. I you have an O.S. without trim, most of the SSD brands have a tool to manual trim te SSD. It's a placebo effect. You simply cannot detect a performance increase in the milliseconds range. Fragmented or not, any data anywhere on a hard disk can be accessed in just ms. Putting "broken" files together (defragmenting) just minimises head seek times. A fragmented/"broken" file can be read and "put back together" almost instantaneously.
