HandyPAF
Why You Should Stop Using CCleaner on Windows Right Now Quote CCleaner, once a tidy app with no history of issues, has had two major problems in less than a year. This is unfortunately not surprising after Avast purchased CCleaner developer Piriform in July 2017. https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/stop-using-ccleaner-windows/

This is what I am doing, at least for now. Also what do you guys think about Privazer?

I'm still using 5.44.6577 Not sure if that release is under Avast ownership or not but it doesn't nag me about upgrading and doesn't auto-restart the background monitor so I'm okay with it. It is. I just thought it safer to go back to a non-Avast release. On a side note I have uninstalled Defraggler completely. It is now also owned and maintained by Avast. I have moved on and will never use Piniform/Avast softs again.

That's what a friend of mine from the federal police said. That monitoring system that appears in the series Persons Of Interest, is just a flea, close to the system that the NSA uses to intercept and monitor everyone. Just by poking the phone's chip, it stops sending location data because it is energized for more than 24 hours ...
