No, this is not possible and also the reason why the iPhone is a superior competition.

iPhones unlike Android devices have true hardware security melted in.

There are motherboard elements on the iPhone linked together sharing encryption keys.

These include the CPU, Modem, IC / Memory chip and maybe more.

As well, the iPhone's volatile memory is secured with RSA 2048-bit encryption.

To decrypt a iPhone, you need that iPhone. Only the iPhone itself cans attempt decryption.

You also can't flash or load a firmware that is not signed by Apple.

You may think about downgrading to a vulnerable version, but there's no downgrade.

And the iCloud Activation lock makes use of all of it, all of its hardware security attributes.

You're dealing with an expensive piece of paperweight, unless it's not reported stolen.

If the iPhone is not reported, its blacklist status will be Clean, allowing you to pay an iCloud unlocking site to do it.

These websites have an Apple GSX membership, they can remotely erase the iPhone's record off the iCloud DB.

You can unlook a iPhone with Tenorshare 4uKey 1.3.0 Multilingual  but be aware that you are loosing all data etc. The iPhon gets a new OS installed with that tool (tested by @GlacialMan)

I've been looking into this, and it appears that it does the same thing that iTunes restore option with dfu mode does am I right? So nothing fancy related to icloud stuff.
