Ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows disk images from Digital River, hunting for untouched ISO files has been a pain. Our new tool will make your life easier, and provides and interface to Microsoft TechBench to download original Windows and Office images directly from Microsoft's server. I did a formatted install from basics and I purchased a key from an eBay seller. I went to install the key and my system told me Windows ten (10) is already activated. How queer. Kalju Posted June 15, 2018 Share Posted June 15, 2018 It's completely normal if this computer came from the factory and Windows 7, Windows 8 - 8.1 or Windows 10 was already installed by the factory. (Then the activation data is already stored in this computer). With the key you can change, for example, OEM to Retail or to Volume or Home to Pro etc. It depends on what key you have. But remember, there may be problems, may happen, that You must remove preinstalled activation data. Most likely such a problem may happen, if the computer come with preinstalled Windows 10 Home OEM version, but You want to get something else.
