If you have a previous version of WINRAR installed and licensed, you should not worry about "licensing" this new version; your  existing license continues valid. Just download WinRAR 5.60 Beta 1 from rarlabs.com and install it. Your current rarreg.key will keep working.

I hope this wasn't extracted from some unauthorized list. It could be Schindler's List, what can I think...?

Same here.. I can't even tell you how old my key is now - I've sort of had it forever. I download and try newer KG's, just to see, then I stick to my original...

You include the full link in both "links", thus completely defeating the purpose. LoL!

Although Firefox will add the slash automatically, I've just tried with Google Chrome 47.x and it ignores the slash.

Do later versions of Google Chrome acknowledge it?

I use Firefox. 58.0.2 to be precise. The slash is absolutely not automatically added on my end.

I'm using 52.7.0 ESR, but previous Firefox builds added the slash also.

Maybe yours has a bug?

You're not using the same version but state mine might have a bug? If anything, more like old versions would have a bug since they add characters that aren't there.

Doubtful. I also went back to version 10.0.9. That's a long time to leave a bug.

And as @BTJB said...

This can be debated all.day but it's not the topic to do so.

Back to WinRAR Beta 1 topic...

Something's wrong with your repack. I can't change themes, when I restart WinRAR, there is the main theme. Also I can't save passwords.

Again. Relax guys. Stop fighting over small things - saying this from personal experience as mentioned below. :P

When the sharecodes were being re-looked into, a lot of argument had happened within the staff. It was later decided that the default behavior of both Firefox and Chrome which amount to the largest userbase of our forums will be respected. Both Firefox and Chrome do not add slash after the domain and that is why members should not either. If any changes are being made officially by the browser developers then do let us know about it as only then we can look into it.

From a long time. We did some statistics many years ago, we found out that Firefox and Chrome together amounted to about 75% of our visitors on FP and forums.

I use a licence generated with the FFF keygen. But I like to collect keygens for various programs.

Now is it just me or does this DFox_URET keygen not work?

The instructions (I just copied the relevant parts) are utter nonsense and nothing to do with the keygen:

Quote

Patch the Program...

Generate Serial and use it on Registration

Copy Request Code into keygen

Generate Serial v12 or File License v11

The keygen generates a rarreg.key (using one button called "Generate"). But upon opening WinRAR, "(evaluation copy)" appears on the interface. Therefore the generated .key is invalid.

Having a field to enter your own name is pointless as this is ignored. Looking at the rarreg.key in an editor, the name shows as "DeltaFoX/TeamURET"(!)

The only useful button on this keygen is the Exit button.

So did anyone have any success with this keygen?

WinRar_Keygen_v1.2_By_DFoX_URET works fine for me.

Are you installed WinRar in default dir?

Keygen automatically check WinRar version, and copy key in WinRar dir.
