Firefox 60 ships with Windows Group Policy Support

Currently the worst available browser, it's interesting why they do not want to make it better. Instead, they are doing something of a negligible (unnecessary, rather unwanted). It is unlikely that any user would be interested in the fact, that his not very wise boss or employer will be able to set further restrictions how to use browser. (A few days ago, one similar was looking for ways, how to prevent users from using Firefox and, so now he will get these features).

What is the advantage of the group policy support vs. the autoconfig.js?

Sounds good for SysAdmins — would like to see many many more options under the policy, though.

Looks as if the Group Policy support might make it to the ESR builds in the third quarter of 2018. F3h9xqz.gif
