CIA claims it can predict some social unrest up to 5 days ahead

Back in March 2015, the CIA chief began setting up a new office, the Directorate of Digital Innovation, to integrate the latest tech into the agency's data-gathering workflow along with boosting the country's cyber defense. According to its director, the department has helped the CIA as a whole improve its "anticipatory intelligence." Speaking at the Next Tech event yesterday, Deputy Director for Digital Innovation Andrew Hallman noted that, in some instances, they've been able to forecast social unrest and societal instability in other countries by as much as three to five days out.

 

That "anticipatory intelligence" has been boosted through a combination of algorithms and analytics to predict the flow of illicit goods or extremists, according to Defense One. Deep and machine learning makes sense of seemingly disparate data, helping analysts see patterns to anticipate national security threats. And then they apply it to the world.

 

"What we're trying to do within a unit of my directorate is leverage what we know from social sciences on the development of instability, coups and financial instability, and take what we know from the past six or seven decades and leverage what is becoming the instrumentation of the globe," Hallman said during yesterday's event.

 

They don't just pore through the intelligence community's own proprietary information, either. The Digital Innovation department has been using more and more open source data sets with specialists who can combine public and agency information to draw more nuanced conclusions, which CIA director John Brennan called a tremendous advantage.

 

Combined with their increasing surveillance of social media, the agency is clearly looking to gobble up as much information as possible. With tech's best data-parsing tools, they hope to get days of lead time to prepare for riots and social decay across the globe. But how successful they are and how far ahead they can accurately anticipate it is uncertain.

I find that the CIA can't even prevent a weak ass lame terrorist attack so I believe nothing that they can predict even with evidence they have no clue what to do with any of it there is so much bullshit for them to weave through to find what is a real threat or not. You could easily come up with an AI algorithm to send false flags and warnings using VPN's hacking their systems sending the signal all over the US or the world saying this and that, this algorithm could easily be implemented into social medias as well like there already are so there is no fucking way they could accurate predict SHIT... sorry fact is the internet is far to manipulated by to many including media, government(s), children hackers doing harmless crap, to the real hackers distracting everyone/anyone from what they are really doing or up to could be bait to get the real info once an investigation has begun login mac address's and ultimately getting into their systems and then there are the criminal moles that were bought off that are planted within government agencies to hide cover up these criminal acts and then there is the ones who will profit from such things that are doing this with their millions and billions to have control and do what they want we will never know who the wizard behind the curtain is. If Obama calls martial law it will only be to clean the US of white people he has created this major divide with black lives matters and supporting it or allowing it to continue as a black man he is very powerful in this agenda and there are more blacks and Hispanics then there are whites in the US anymore. He and his family are clearly racist and they also love Muslims over Christians. I have nothing against Muslims other then the fact that even the so called good ones KNOW who the bad ones are either hide them or say nothing which is saying it's okay to do these heinous acts around the world.

If what you believed  was true  we all be dead right now ,  Only thing people are interested in  is after  a attack , and  attack is going too slip by every and then  , But if you did not  have law enforcement  they would been  many many more  attacks they have prevented  more attacks  than has happened  ,  the CIA job is  not  to stop the world from having terrorist  attacks   there job is to warn the USA  ahead of time   its Mission is this

 They do the  Governments Dirty Work , So do NSA and the FBI and the Military  ..The USA is not going disband the CIA because of this  Fact is the 80s was years ago . Back in the Civil War Lincoln   declared  Marshall Law on  New York because the  immigrants refused to  be drafted by the Union  .  He sent the Military  in to kill them all . In the end it will not  be a 3 letter agency  you have too worry about it will be the military.

 

After all those people were killed in the War  when Grant  resigned  from office the South  was about to get in office..  The election  was so close  it was a tie So the North cut a deal with the south to remove the Union troops from the South  if they let the North's candidate win .  So it was rigged  and that's the reason blacks did not  get civil rights in the south tell like  a100 years latter.

 

So Lincoln declared  Marshall Law 2 times once in New York  and on the South  and hes considered a hero but  he was was responsible  of bloodshed  of 644,000 of his own people.
