Not true - quite a few of those 16 things are already available on my KitKat 4.4.4 ;)

Than i want to know that things, sir.
On my KitKat 4.4.4, I already have the following - without using any 3rd party apps:--

01. Tap and go

02. Use the flashlight

12. Add trusted devices

You're referring to a OEM or custom rom, not stock Android which this article is clearly and obviously referring to.
Yep, was referring to a custom ROM - on the OEM KitKat, the following are already available:--

01. Tap and go

11. Chromecast more quickly

Yes and that makes your comment irrelevant because this article is specifcally referring to vanilla Android, not custom roms.

Feel free to quote the original topic where it makes specific mention of the term vanilla android.

BTW, for informational purposes, have also added the OEM features at post # 7, that additionally render the post untrue.

It goes without saying the article refers to Vanilla Android, You would have to be an idiot to assume it mean generally and includes ALL after market roms like OEM/CUSTOM.

Also what part of Vanilla do you not understand? OEM and Custom roms are ...NOT... Vanilla so any OEM features DO NOT render the article untrue in any way shape or form.

An OEM rom is something like a Samsung Touchwiz rom, This is NOT Vanilla Android. A Vanilla Android is AOSP and what you find originally on Nexus and other AOSP devices.

In other words, you made a presumption and failed to quote original article making any specific mention of the term vanilla android.

Now, name-calling does not make your presumption, right - so, don't feel violated if I retaliate in kind. :coolwink:

FYI, post # 7 (based on the irrelevant vanilla android) renders this article untrue.

I didnt name call or you specifcally I was speaking in general.

I'm not sure hwy you cant seem to grasp that th article is referring to vanilla Android when it's specifcally talking about AND showing Vanilla android, ie the AOSP build that has just been released by Google.

OEM and custom roms are a secondary builds (forks) made by OEM's and public and you cant take them into account when reading articles about stock Android builds. Article is true!

Great so, we don't abuse each other - I appreciate that. uu0vOfR.gif

The original article is still untrue (as, already mentioned) even if we disregard Custom ROMs (for academic reasons) to take only a stock KitKat into consideration - there are only 14 not 16 new points, in the Lollipop.

The following 2 points are already available on a stock KitKat:--

01. Tap and go

11. Chromecast more quickly

Which "stock" Kitkat are you referring to? Samsung and other such roms are not "stock" as in AOSP.

"Tap and go" is not a part of AOSP Kitkat code, only via 3rd party apps or part a OEM rom. Vanilla Android does not contain "tap and go".

.....and?

"Grab and go" is NOT "Tap and go" both completely different things.

I know, it is not Grab and go - it is the Tap and go, that I am referring to.

Yes, and there is no "tap and go" in Kitkat. It was introduced natively in Lollipop.

Check out the following fact - at the same link, provided at post # 22:--

AGAIN, that is NOT "tap and go", It's now blatantly obvious you dont even know what "Tap and go" is as you keep showing features of Kitkat that are completely unrelated to the new features in Lollipop that you try and assert are already part of stock Kitkat.

Please just take 5 minutes and actually do some reading.

NONE of the features in the article about stock (AOSP) Lollipop are a part of stock Kitkat like you seem to think/claim.

..I'm sorry but you're just wrong.
