About the wastage of your 23 GB towards a Recovery partition - here is what I would personally do:--

  • I would backup my existing copy
  • Would then boot using the latest Acronis Disk Director BootCD
  • Right-clicking the partition that costs 23 GBs
  • Deleting it so that the partition becomes Unallocated Space
  • Right-clicking the Unallocated Space and then clicking Create a partition
  • In the partition-creating-wizard ensuring NTFS is selected
  • Ensuring also that D is allotted to the drive

Do check back after you have traveled this far - you are living on the edge with one single system partition and so many other Recovery partitions - sign of many blotched installations. :(

i don't know about first problem for shadow defender

but i can talk about the second one for ur harddisk partitions

1 - if the laptop already work so i recommend that u download

MiniTool® Partition Wizard Home Edition 8.1.1

from here so easy and all steps for how to use are in the official site

2 - this pieces with BLACK color labeled unallocated will not shows in ur harddrive

u must creat it first by right click creat partition and choose ntfs >>>>>>> till the end

u can make this from diskmanagement itself if u want

3 - also ur partition C contains all the hard disk space i know it is new laptop

and most of laptops come with only 1 partition

so u can make shrink for it why ? to creat another partition for ur private data not to lose ur date

if u install new windows or what ever happend how ?

tight click on the partition C choose shrink it will give u the available space to shrink

and then follow the steps

choose ntfs - logical if u can not primary - and finish

u can make this also from disk management itself

i'm sorry i write to much but really i had to help as much as i can

i didn;t like to see all this psace go for nothing in ur new laptop

thanks mate

You can do it using Disk Management Only, MiniTool Partition Wizard is recommended because it's advanced and maybe easier to use, BTW I think you should shrink your HDD to C with a space between 100 GB and 200 GB and the rest for D partition

Nope, if you had followed my procedure - it would have looked right.

You have the following Unallocated Space:--

  • 500 MB
  • 128 MB
  • 25.56 GB

yes i mentioned he can make this from diskmanagement

but some times disk management doesn;t give all options

otherwise MiniTool is good for this

for creat - resize - format - convert and all

Thanks for your report with this issue.SD protects the hidden EFI system partition automatically. and threshold space of this partition should be ignored. I will fix it in the next version. To avoid this message, please adjust the threshold space to a bigger number.Thanks. Best regards,Tony
