Any fix for this?

The license you used has been blacklisted by ESET which make cannot access the LiveGrid. Time to change the license.

This just happened to me on Windows 10 x64 EIS. I used the TNod v1.6.6.0 Beta Portable"Licenses Downloader.bat". The best offered was a trial expiring next month. But, I got "can not insert license". Is this because you need to run the BAT file as admin? If this is necessary, I need to change the BAT file, because it tries to locate the portable in windows/system32 [and how would I need to change the BAT file]. Any advice would be appreciated. Or, does TNod need to be updated to handle inserting of licenses now with ESET products?

EDIT: OK, i had to insert the "License Key" by copy and paste manually. Again, any advice would be appreciated. Now, I have trial license expiring on 3/26/2019

EDIT2: [I am getting rusty at this] If the UserName starts with "EAV", will the license work EIS?? @Skunk1966 ol' pal, ur an expert at this stuff?

EDIT3: Yes, those beginning with "EAV" will work for EIS too.

@TheEmpathicEartnod is having trouble for a while now:

1-lots of people reporting problems with the license downloader: it's checking licenses but for some reason valid licenses aren't recognized as valid.

Workaround: go to this page http://tnoduse2.blogspot.com/2018/08/generated-with-tnod-licenses-downloader1.html and convert usernames & passwords. Enter the licenses manually and you'll find that they are valid and will activate your ESET product

2-automatic insertion of licenses doesn't work so you'll have to enter licenses by copy/pasting a license in the required field in your ESET product

Tukero is aware of the problems but he has some issues therefore he hasn't been able to update tnod yet. We don't know yet when he can fix the issues

can someone provide a portable? My guess is that someone that uses the installed version of TNod takes the executable and uses it with the BAT [and INI file] files to make a portable?

check pm

to create a portable:

-install normal tnod 1.6.7 beta

-copy TNODUP.exe from install directory and save it on another location

-rename TNODUP.exe to TNODUP-Portable.exe

-download tnod 1.6.4 portable and unpack

-replace original TNODUP-Portable.exe from 1.6.4 portable with the portable .exe you created from the install version 1.6.7

-DONE

This one last version works good? It finds good license? And no problem in inserting them or updating modules?

I used the license downloader and it retrieved a number of licenses. TNod still needs to be tested to see if it can actually insert one of these licenses. I had to copy/paste the license # with the previous version

Is there any chance to remove/disable this irritating pop-up on every virus signature database? This is very annoying especially while in gaming.

I'm using old version 8.0.319.0 with box, mara-fix v1.8.

The protection U R getting with this "old" version is not as good as with a newer version?

I do prefer the old version 8.0 with a permanent fix w/o using active internet connection. If there's a tested permanent fix/crack for the latest version then maybe that's the time....

Anyone...? 🙄

It is not the latest version but not so old and works perfectly here without nag screens:

So try this:

==ESET Anti Upgrade Splash Screen==

1. Disable HIPS and Self-defense and reboot PC.

3. Copy "anti-upgrade.bat" where "upgrade.exe" file is located:

  *ESET NOD32 Antivirus
  C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\x86\

  *ESET Smart Security\
  C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Smart Security\x86\

4. Run "anti-upgrade.bat" (after this step you can delete "anti-upgrade.bat" if you wish).

5. Enable HIPS and Self-defense and reboot PC.

6. Done.
