«Ax64 time machine» has full compatibility with «Acronis True Image Home», so you may leave installed Acronis

and use it in case something goes wrong with AX64 Time machine.

@someone there :-

It seems, that`s what I heard, when you have already installed previous version 1.2.0.1120, if you install this new version 1.3.0.7 (beta) over, ( without uninstalling 1.2.0.1120) , is possible to create the Recovery Media. (Win 8.1). Try it and let us know.

Obviously this software is not windows 8.1 ready yet .

Better for the software venders to create a software that works from the first whistle and no need for work a round to make it work ..

They should carry out more tests on this betas and I heard that this error is reported since the previous version.

Any way thank you for the news and I will be waiting for their final stable release .. no harm is done .. Just beta testing..

I am uninstalling this software now..

Cheers.

@someone there

They are testing and if you visit WildersSecurity there are a lot of members there given their opinion after having tested helping the producers.

Anyway,they are expecting final release very soon.

Conclusion : this beta v. 1.3.0.7 can`t create the «Recover Media » but for those using portable computers there is no problem. Program works.

I've been reading up on this.

It looks like it could develop into a great image application.

Hi,8.1 user recover media works with usb ,not cd or dvd ,so far all is good other than that.

I tried all usb, cd, iso . The AX64 Time Machine v.1.3.7 beta failed to create media for any of them.

For me it creating media NP in this beta over my w8x64.

thats the main reason i DIDN'T switch to 8.1 yet - > software compatibility

I got the usb done ok ,but can't boot it, my mobo is the problem I think not the first time it happens. The cd ,dvd and iso do not work with 8.1 and this ax64 version.
