It must be expensive, since I pay $28.54 for just 1mbps, real around 0.740 mbps average, DSL connection. Found it expensive for me.

 

ps After many years with this velocity found an offer today for 10mbps for $29.99 and changed.

why don't you switch to fiber ?

Are you sure you have only 1 Mbps of download ? please do a speedtest and post the result here.

if so, yes it is very expensive for such a low speed.

i recently switched to fiber after having had ADSL for a long time (12 Mbps down, 1 Mbps up) and i'm now absolutely satisfied to get such high speed which allows me to work faster and more easily.

I upgraded yesterday to 10mbps for $29.99. Fiber is $54.99 for 50mbps.
