I know what it is and what it does, but I don't understand why Windows didn't update to version 4 in Windows updates. Any need to worry or is this normal? dee.pee Posted February 23, 2012 Share Posted February 23, 2012 It's normal.Net.Framework 4 is considered as a new program by MS.You have to install it first (download it for free from MS website) and then Windows Update will do its job !!
