  1. like the one in the title, so I need help finding what software is for converting videos from the x264 format to the x265 format. I hope to find the name of the software here, and if possible, software that has been personally tested or software that is considered the best in this field. thank you for your help.
  2. x265 encodes are good as videos encoded by this have relatively lower size for the same quality than x264. But the problem is x265 doesn't support hardware acceleration by default. Due to this the media player (mpc-hc and vlc) uses very high CPU (around 20%) all the time. This causes the system to heat which is not good. On x264, while h/w acceleration is on, the CPU uses is just around 2-3% which is fine. So I wanna know, is there any way in which I can play the x265 encodes using hardware acceleration?
  3. Hi y'all Encoders (even if you're rookie in this niche) , I wanted advice /help regarding some modular Encoding-GUI that allows manual replacement of x265 binaries according to one's use ; if anyone of you can suggest, what I mean x265 gets daily updates but encoders like StaxRip, Handbrake and others usually stick to few stable builds behind and remains non-updated for months. So Is there a any such GUIs that allows the manual replacement of HEVC binaries according to user's wish ? or Is there anything that Im missing and the one's already well known encoding GUIs already provide such way ?? Can anyone guide me here, !!
