In NOD32 'Scheduler/Planner,' temorarily disable the 2 entries of 'automatic startup file check.'
Reboot and post back for further instructions (have to rush to work, now.)

I recollect Agnitum and ESET buried all their conflicts long ago. Do you have any HIPS program running on your system that might be causing conflicts?

As a Purist, I tend to believe that a suite such as the ESS robs the User of granularity being by design . . . . . . . . . . . far too restrictive where possibilities of customization is concerned.
However, ESS gives the User no headaches with regard to program configurations. If you dig suites, go ahead with ESS by all means - just don't forget to uninstall your Outpost Pro before you do so.

Er...As far as I know, I'm not using any hips program, mate, lol. But, I actually do like suites a bit more. It's a little easier handling all your security needs in one place. ESET Smart Security is working great for me as of now. But, for comparison's sake, is ESET's firewall better or Agnitum's?

That's weird. Maybe because it's Enterprise and not Ultimate?

Just my 2 cents . . . . . . . . . . wonder if there's some other 'Security Program/s' running on your system. It's also possible that if you've removed the Program/s and the leftovers were not completely uninstalled.

. . . . . . . . . agreed

No suite (except NIS) could hope to outperform a specialist Program - seriously, there's no comparison here.
Nothing wrong with going with 'Automatic mode' in ESS's initial learning stage.

Nope, It's not got to do with 'Ultimate' v/s 'Enterprise' - this just isn't a Windows issue.
The last known issue between Agnitum and ESET was way back . . . . . . . during NOD32 V3 days.

In the second half of 2007, the release of NOD32 3.0.551.0 did not go well with the Agnitum firewall. At that time, the Outpost Pro firewall version was 6.0.2168.211.415.268. Matter of fact the release of the V3 declared by ESET as a 'final' was nothing but a beta and most of us were suckered into beta testing it for most part of 2007.

First install OP then Eset, add Eset to Selfdefense Exclusions in OP.
Good Luck
