Thanx for the update. :)
Out of beta? So early? :o

Is it working that well?

I'll wait for the experts to review that it's safe to go ahead or not.

EDIT: They have separated the firewall, Av, etc. if I'm not wrong. :o :o :o :o :D

Some useful information

Quote

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1 - Do I need a separate installer if i am using a 64 bit operating system?
A1 - No. The installer will download the appropriate setup for you and install.

Q2 - I am a CIS 3.x User. Will I get the updates?
A2 - We haven't released the updates to the existing users yet. But we will. When we release, in the upcoming weeks, you will be able to update it without having to reinstall this new version.

Q3 - Do I need to download these 3 setup files in order to get all the products?
A3 - No. If you download CIS Free installer, you will be able to choose which products you want to install. We have provided standalone firewall and AV installers for convenience for some of our users. If you want to install both firewall and antivirus, you should use COMODO Internet Security Installer.

Q4 - I was a BETA tester and still using the BETA versions. What should I do?
A4 - You should uninstall the BETA version and use this new version. However, although not recommended, you can use automatic updater to update to this version from the BETA versions.

I like it very much :)

I don't need Threatcast but I don't mind it, I mean it's nice feature and I have it enabled but it's still not working (they have issues with it for some time now) , I have the tab now but no results.
I don't use antivirus software so I didn't installed that feature, so far everything else is great :D

First of all. I thought that they did some extreme changes to the size of the installer that it has become 2 MB. All the installers are just namesake that they are named CIS or CAV or CFW. They all do the same. They all are online installers.

It will download and install whatever you select. AV or Firewall or both. And threatcast support is very important.

Otherwise, so for so great. ^_^

Is it recommended to uninstall v3.14.130099.587 before installing this new 4.0.135239.742?

BTW, I just use the firewall.

I'm only testing this in a virtual machine. Maybe I should post these full installers instead? The online ones have same size but differs in what you are chosen to install. But for people that would like to do an upgrade from version 3 to 4 the below installers are best?

Download COMODO Internet Security 4 for Windows 32bit
http://download.como...s_setup_x86.msi

Download COMODO Internet Security 4 for Windows 64bit
http://download.como...s_setup_x64.msi

Eset NOD AV does not like the main exe

E:\Downloads\cfp.exe - probably a variant of Win32/Genetik trojan

Nope. :P

Not available at the moment.......... :P

BTW forget to mention. As Jalaffa mentions. ESET catches it as a trojan. So exclude cfp.exe from scanning.

If you have this can you post a little review of it on the points below, thx.

*Malware detection
*Malware removal
*System performance - how much does it slow your pc/browsing?
*Is there a pop-up everytime you open an application to allow or deny it?
