In this guide I'll show you how to download Eset virus definitions files and components from their servers.
First, you need to download and install NOD32 Update Viewer.
TRIAL VIRUS DEFINITIONS
Start the tool. Open the Settings:

Here you will choose Trial version for use with box, mara- fix:

After this, go to Mirror tab. Select options as showed on the screen shot:

As you can see you have possibility to select components for Eset Smart Security and x64 component. I recommend to download all, since it's only 23,6 MB. Important option here is "Automatic Update". Others are you choice. There is also folder to choose for download. Default is "eset_upd" which is located in folder from where this tool is activated. Press OK to close Settings.
Now download definitions by pressing green arrow in the NOD32 Update Viewer:

COMMERCIAL VIRUS DEFINITIONS
OK, this is very similar to to above steps. There are some minor changes.
Start the tool. Open the Settings:

You will choose Commercial now for use with valid user name and password.
You will need to choose other folder in Mirror tab if you don't want that your Trial definitions get overwritten - you may need sometimes both. If this is a case, I recommend keeping two copies of NOD32 Update Viewer one configured for trial and other for Commercial use. Since this application is portable it's easy to make two copies.
Now, if you used Trial in NOD32 Update Viewer, after switching to Commercial you will get this prompt:

Choose Yes here. Now servers are updated for Commercial use. After this you need to enter user name and password to corresponding field:

Now click on the button for checking if user name and password are valid:

You will get this prompt if user name and password are valid:

Choose Yes.
After choosing Yes it will look like this:

Now download definitions by pressing green arrow in the NOD32 Update Viewer:

UPDATING ESET OFFLINE
Now, to update your ESET offline you need to configure Updating. To do this open Setup-->Advanced Setup and go to Update section. I copied mine folder to root of disk C:\ so in ESET it needs to look like this:

Close the settings and do the Update.
Hope you find this useful.
Cheers
