I have read many contests in which they ask for at least 6 months old or some degrees, and I want to change that. 1 month old in the forum is the minimum of inclusive that I can be. Look what you're comparing it to: Norton. I haven't heard that name in YEARS. Sure there WAS a time when MacAfee and Norton ruled the antivirus markets, but that was when malware writers were dumb and unskilled, unlike today. Compare it to Bitdefender or Kaspersky or Avira, and then come back and tell me which product lets the most threats through. Out of 100,000 viruses, MacAfee let 500 viruses through and blocked 6 legit apps from operating. Browser extensions do a better job of password management and using AES encryption and storing files in a new folder isn't anything new or groundbreaking. Parental controls are built into windows 10 and browsers can be set to clear their own data at close and to reject third party cookies. What's so new here? Nothing. MacAfee Total Security is the LAST thing you would want defending (and slowing down) your PC. It has nothing special, does a mediocre job of protection and whatever glory it once had is long lost and gone.
