nir
Microsoft announced a number of new features that are coming to its Office Lens app on iOS and Android this month. The app allows users to use their smartphone camera to scan documents. Most of the new features for this month are for Android. The firm is bringing Immersive Reader to Android, while it's been available across different apps and services on Windows, the web, and iOS. This adds features like read aloud, increasing or decreasing font size, wide text spacing, rewind and forward, and you can control the speaking rate of the text when it's being read aloud. The other two features coming to Android give you more control over the document being scanned. You can now tap to select, which is helpful if it's not trying to scan the document at once. There's also Snap to Edge, which allows you to move crop handles and it will snap to the document edge. Finally, there's one new feature for iOS, which is already available on Android. You can now add text annotations to your scans, in different styles and colors. All of the new features arrive this month, and some are already available.Source
