According to unofficial information, the development of a new functional update of Windows 10 (version 1809) called October 2018 Update has come to an end. The final RTM build is Build 17763.1. Public release expected on October 2

 

Microsoft has completed the development of a new update for Windows 10 October 2018 Update , also known as Redstone 5 or version 1809. The RTM version will be build 17763.1, which is indirectly confirmed by downloading the appropriate ESD files to the company's servers from Redmond. Thus, very soon the new version of Windows 10 will be available for download and deployment.

Earlier, build 17763.1 (RTM) was delivered to the participants of the Windows Insiderpre-test program on the channels "Early Access" and "Late Access", and in the next few hours the build should be received by the "Release Preview" channel insiders.

 

How to install Windows 10 October 2018 Update now

As with previous feature updates for Windows 10, the XML file leaked to the Internet containing links to the 17763 ESD build. These links are used by the Media Creation Tool to install updates.

Also from XML it becomes clear that the release of October 2018 Update is scheduled for October 2, 2018. Please note that this date is not final, because official confirmation of Microsoft has not yet been received. Timing can move if critical errors are detected at the last moment.

I think it's ok because the rtm actually has not been released yet by microsoft officially. So this kind of topic is very hot because everyone is excited about the news they've been waiting for. Camon be happy with forum ok. Peace for @cybpsych.

  • Task Manager is not reporting accurate CPU usage.
  • Arrows to expand "Background processes" in Task Manager are blinking constantly and weirdly.

I really hope Microsoft fix these problems :S ... Another user said "It's the best version since 03 years", I don't know if he is joking :S 

Maybe some users will report BSOD when the 1809 comes to their computers
