nir Posted September 21, 2018 Share Posted September 21, 2018 Microsoft continues making improvements to its OneDrive app for iOS after the major update that was released at the start of the year. A new update is rolling out today and, while it isn't as major as that previous one, it still brings a couple of significant changes and new features. The new release carries version number 10.33.6, and the first change you'll see doesn't even require you to open the app. There's now a new app icon that has a sense of depth rather than appearing completely flat. The splash screen has also been slightly redesigned. As for more practical changes, there's a new 'On this day' feature that lets you take a stroll down memory lane by presenting pictures you took on the same day in past years. Additionally, OneDrive will now organize your camera roll pictures by month and year, making it easier to know where images are and improving the app's performance. While not completely new, those using business accounts will be seeing the return of a feature that was removed earlier this year. After a brief period of unavailability due to a bug, it's now possible once again to share items from the Photos view. Aside from these bigger additions, there are also a few bug fixes in tow, with one specifically pertaining to the recently released iOS 12: We fixed an issue causing a crash for users with many offline files. Some users experienced crashes with our iMessage app. Those have been fixed too. We fixed a crash when viewing certain PDFs and Office documents on iOS 12. If you'd like to grab the latest version of OneDrive, you can do so from the App Store. If you already have the app installed, the update should be showing up on your device.
