How I did it,, While in Total Commander, I copied and saved both examples of info's (one at a time of course) to notepad and saved as *.uue as suggested.. With cursor on *.uue file, I clicked Files menu then Decode File.. Each time I got "Warning: Nothing decoded!".. InsaneAl Although I don't use TC, maybe you can try to decode the file to directory which is not located in the system partition (e.g. C:\) or run TC as administrator. InsaneAl Posted August 16, 2018 Share Posted August 16, 2018 Hmmm, I dunno what just happened a few seconds ago, but while I was reading a PM from another member over this topic, I copied and pasted my own post above ( begin 644 wincmd.key-####-end sum -r/size 2870/1024), and saved it via TCommander and notepad as "TC.txt"... I then, for some reason, put the cursor on it clicked Fines menu / Decode File - and voila, there it was in the opposite column - "wincmd.key" 1024 bytes... I also went back over the whole copy and paste routine from both original posts above from vissha and teodz1984.. Yesterday I save each as uue and both were 2978 bytes in size. This morning I did the whole thing again identically and saved each as *.uue and then as *.txt and they are all 1488 bytes and all uue and txt decode and create "wincmd.key" 1024 bytes in the opposite pane... W-T-F...!!! Anyway, it worked and I'm sorry for taking up so much time and space on this topic. I'll just sit here and scratch my head wondering wtf happened for a while..
