Kaspersky Security Cloud is our new security service based on patented adaptive security technology. The service adjusts to your actions and provides personalized recommendations on how to better protect you and your loved ones. For example, when you connect to Wi-Fi networks, shop online or sign in to websites, the service recommends turning on the protection components that best fit the situation.

You can use Kaspersky Security Cloud on devices running Microsoft Windows, macOS (not available in the Free package), Android, and iOS.

To use Kaspersky Security Cloud, your device must be connected to a My Kaspersky account, a single account for remotely managing protection of your devices. An owner of the Family subscription can also share protection with family members and friends. All other users under this Family subscription will have to create their own My Kaspersky accounts.

As I keep saying the term "free" cannot be taken for what it once meant anymore. One way or another there is always a string attached these days.
