steven36 Posted May 18, 2018 Share Posted May 18, 2018 Moldovan arrested for running underage porn site Police hold a press briefing at the Technology Crime Suppression Division headquarters on the arrest of Serghei Cependiuc, seen on the video screen A Moldovan man has been arrested for violating the Computer Crime Act by operating a website said to contain underage pornography. Pol Maj Gen Worrawat Wattanakornbancha, commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), said on Wednesday Serghei Cependiuc, 30, a Moldovan national, had been captured at his house in Thap Sakae district in Prachuap Khiri Khan on Tuesday. Mr Cependiuc lived with his Thai wife in the district. An arrest warrant for him was issued on May 8 for allegedly operating depfile.com, a website based in Dominica, the small island state in the Caribbean. The website contained pornographic images of underaged people, and was accessed by members who had to pay monthly fees of US$19.95 (640 baht), according to the TCSD. The arrest was a coordinated operation, and three other people were detained in Bulgaria and the Netherlands. Gert Ras, a Dutch police officer who participated in the operation in Thailand, said Alexander Osadcii, another Moldovan, had been apprehended in Moldova. The Dutch police agency had alerted Thai authorities that Mr Cependiuc was believed to be one of the website administrators. He was found to have travelled in and out of Thailand since 2009, and had a Thai wife. TCSD and Crime Suppression Division police together searched six locations in the district before finding him. Too much other ways to get flacs than use that blog now they are using florenfile a unheard of hoster that most unrestricted downloaders don't support time to move on witch i never used that blog but once are twice to get flacs anyway they just upload them from p2p try getting a invite to a private music tracker or use RU tracker they have loads of flac . When I looked into this people on social media had been complaining about them having no no stuff on depfile for awhile and the owners never removed it so I think it's a good thing they shut them down . It was not like they couldn't see it coming and people think it's only is going on on the darknet when the was allowing it right on the clearnet ! I belong to a private music sharing group that has existed for over 20 years. We get music straight from the various stores thru employees and it is all done thru private FTP servers. I know people who uploaded music on the site for their friends because their friends were not members of the group. That's how I know they were great flacs. I may have misled you when I used the term 'best site on the internet' since our group doesn't have a site, it just sounded better than saying best group on the internet. I hate pedophiles and have lots of friends in law enforcement that donate time to missing and exploited children. I just wonder how close he monitored the system. The problem with hosting systems is people can upload an encrypted file with any name they want and the operators have no way of knowing what is in the file. Pedophile groups have their own code of operation so they can share the files and passwords and without infiltrating the group or taking down a careless member and getting the information from his computer there is no way anyone would know what was in the files. So all the sites can be subject to serving child pornography, even the ones favored on nsane. dhunterhell Posted May 21, 2018 Share Posted May 21, 2018 is pretty weird i would say, yes i totally agree that under aged pornography should be punished in most extreme way, but they should search for the ones that posted them, not the owner, there are so many files there who the hell can scan everything, now if we encrypt the archive who can check what you have uploaded. imo they should cooperate with the site owners and track the scum, because now they will just switch to another website and continue with their disgusting ways. As far as it could happen on any site, this is true it could even happen on Google Drive or M$ Cloud but a site like depfile that paid out cash rewards , paying pedos for uploading after there members had reported them many times instead of removing the files and banning the uploaders accounts . These files were not encrypted and all these cloud services have in place were they can scan a file to see whats in them as soon as they upload them , Sites like uploaded.com ban users everyday for just uploading movies and music because of DMCA and RG deletes the files as soon as there reported so there is no excuse for not banning pedos from these sites. I'm not a big fan of these scam sites that pay rewards to uploaders there not worth buying they charge you money to download and most of the time the file is gone soon after it's uploaded due to DMCA id much rather pay for a service that lets me download from a 100 hosters and torrents in the cloud for pennies a day at lest with torrents not all sites follow DMCA. I posted a article on here before on how many hosters worked with the police and they were signed in monitoring what people be uploading and downloading for years. if the police was watching you they most likely know the site you're posting the links on and have you're password it dont take a genius to find passwords if the files have been posted on the clearnet or even the darknet if they have access to the site. If you read the toss you agree to when using these services , most of them say they will turn you in to the police and many will give the police access to there api to stop pedos and terrorist . Most people who use encrypted rars are a joke the password is posted in plain site on the forum or blog they post the links to the files on and JDownloader will remember them and Winrar you can add to them it as well. And if you uploaded a lot files and changed passwords every time they be no way to remember them all. 2baksa has been using passwords forever and there files get deleted due to dmca all the time. Even before this, back in the days of Kazza and eDonkey the NSA broke there encryption and were on there watching what everyone was uploading and downloading. You are being watched regardless if you are doing something you shouldn't chances are high you going to get caught sooner are latter. Many years ago, when I was a kid myself, I was introduced to an famous international organization - I do not quite remember it's name, that used to work against crimes against children, whom you could help by reporting sites or people who used to abuse children online. I remember pledging a support to them. But thankfully, I do not remember having come across any such site which were outright exploiting children or allowed abusive content against them.
