star.pngUse WireGuard with AzireVPN beta

WireGuard is a modern VPN with state of the art formally verified cryptography while being extremely minimal and fast.

  • Small attack surface

Less code means WireGuard is easily auditable and has a small attack surface. This is a huge improvement versus other VPN protocols.

    • WireGuard ~4k LoC
    • StrongSwan ~405k LoC
    • OpenVPN ~100k LoC
  • High performance

Our tests on different devices has shown WireGuard to be superior when it comes to speed. ChaCha20Poly1305 performs extremely well.

    • ChaCha20 for encryption
    • Poly1305 for authentication
    • Curve25519 for ECDH

WireGuard with AzireVPN is currently free for everyone

You're not wrong. You just didn't read carefully. :tooth:

WireGuard Pilot

WireGuard is still in development but is looking so promising that we are eager to let our users try it out already. We have developed an API for key distribution and are looking into adding WireGuard to our client. At the moment, this protocol can only be used on Linux, but support for Windows and macOS is coming soon.

You need to set it up manually using the guide provided there. Although i can't test it personally since I don't have Linux on real machine or even VM at the moment.

wireguard is only for linux atm and it's needs a manual conf, for osx and wind their client works good, the only thing that i don't like is the need the write the password every time you want connect..

Yes and no.

Windows client doesn't support Wireguard yet. I assume it's using OpenVPN.

Again, it's stated on their own page that Wireguard only available for Linux at the moment. The free offer is only available using Wireguard tunnel. Naturally that would left other platform out of question.

Seriously, people! You should read anything more carefully!
