Still a few issues with the new popup blocker. Blocks Hangouts extension and/or app from loading it's "popup" window. The only work around is to disable popup extension, launch chrome & let hangouts load, now enable the popup blocker, as long as hangouts is loaded in the background it works now.

There should be a notification when it blocks a popup and there you should have the option for whitelisting the site for popups.

@dcs18 Can you confirm this option is present or not?

Or maybe you could open a ticket here: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/PopupBlocker/issues

Since I already block nearly all the elements by default, the pop-up blocker is redundant (for me) — have never enabled it. ;)

I filed the bug report. Turns out the developers have set the new popup blocker aggressively to sort out the sites that are broken in it. Google & extensions that have their own window are known issues at the moment. It catches alot more of the pop under ads than previous versions.
